Bear hunting

Our exclusive spring black bear hunting territory is located in north-eastern Quebec, in a region that is well known for its high population of big black bears.

We live here year-round and operate a fishing business during the summer months.  We are proud to offer a first-class Quebec spring bear hunt and fall moose hunt.  We take great satisfaction in providing a successful hunting opportunity for our guests.

We offer a five-day bear hunt in a large, exclusive area, known for its high quality bear habitat and the highest density of black bears in the area.

We have plenty of active sites that we pre-bait, long before our first hunter shows up.  With our area being quite large, with a diverse terrain, we use a variety of vehicles to get you into the bear hunting sites.

We have scouted different locations on our bear hunting grounds and set up our bait sites to attract the largest number of black bears.  Our guides are hunters as well, and have the knowledge to select bait sites in productive areas.  Also, due to the exclusive bear hunting area, and limiting the number of hunters we put through that area during the bear hunting season, we can guarantee a high rate of success.  We limit the number of hunters each season, which gives most hunters multiple opportunities to harvest a big black bear (300 pounds).

Our bear hunting package includes:

Deluxe accommodation at our main camp, field dressing, trophy care, use of our boats and motors, with gas (fishing package).  Our bear hunting guide will take you out to the sites for your watch and then will pick you up when it gets dark.  We have a variety of permanent, portable and two-person stands to hunt from.  After you have harvested your bear, you can relax around the camp or fish for Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Pike and Lake Trout.  Most bear hunters start their day out fishing in the mornings, come in for lunch, then relax a little before going out in the afternoon to their hunting stands.

We go out of our way to ensure that our hunters get the best shooting opportunities with a truly world-class Quebec black bear hunting outfitter.  Our experience, effort, skills, knowledge and advanced preparation combine to make this possible.  A great bear outfitter never cuts corners so you can be sure that we will always provide you with the experience of a lifetime.

What to expect on your Quebec bear hunt?

Great hunting and fishing!  We will make your stay a memorable one.  Kipawa Lake is a beautiful sight, filled with many hunting and fishing opportunities, with a high success rate due to the very active baits.  By the time you arrive at camp, we have already put in hundreds of hours of preparation to make your bear hunt a success.  We offer active bait sites as well as recently acquired additional ones.  During the day, you can enjoy the best fishing Quebec has to offer, or just sit back and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
